It hurts to breathe, what is wrong with me?

ive been sick the past 5 days (at first it seemed like an ordinary cold, then i started losing my voice) and i think im over the majority of it, but i still feel feverish sometimes and ive been spitting/coughing up big globs of mucus, and now it hurts to breathe, especially in my throat and chest area; also when i breathe im weezing. is it just an asthma attack; or is it something else?
