Starting with a rock on the oceanic plate, write out the pathway taken by that rock as it is subducted and eventually ends up erupted in the form of lava at the surface from a continental volcanic arc. Include rock and magma compositions (such as felsic and mafic), how the magma is produced (ways rock can be melted), and how the magma changes (or evolves), as well as some of the intrusive magma body and volcano terminology.
