2 days passed my due date,sore, achy feel like I have the flu, am I getting sick or could this be a sign?

This is my 3rd child, please don't laugh that I still feel like I just don't know, but with my first 2 my water just broke and I knew it was time to go. This time I have been spotting for 6 days- the blood is mucusy so I assume my bloody show, and the dr said it was fine. I have been up every night for 3 nights with strong contractions ranging from 12 min apart to 8 minutes apart but they don't get closer together and by daytime they are only happening here and there. This morning I woke up and my whole body is achy like I have the flu, I feel feverish but there is no fever. I ate and went back to bed, woke up feeling a little better but now 2 hours later feel crappy again. I am still loosing mucus, some blood tinged some not, I just want to know if this could be a sign labor is really coming or am I maybe getting sick? Also I haven't felt the baby move a lot today.
