Burning sensation and random bewetting? UTI?

Well today I woke up to me bed wetting.. I was dreaming something entirely different and it just skipped to me dreaming I was peeing and bam woke up and it was true.I'm 19 years old so it was extremely embarrassing and quite a shock. When I went to pee since I figured I might as well listen to my body, it burned and smelled bad. I know a UTI or bladder infection is usually what causes a burning sensation while peeing but not bed wetting.. I haven't had a UTI since I was a kid and haven't wet the bed in the same amount of time. Could I have peed because of the infection? or could the peeing have caused it? I have a great bladder and almost never have to go so this frequent sensation that I need to and then barely anything is new to me. My boyfriend is making me drink cranberry juice but should I see someone about it or will it clear up on it's own? I don't feel tired or feverish or anything. And should I stop having sex for a bit? I'd rather not go to the doctor or I'd have to explain to my parents about the bed thing and I'd rather now =\
