Where in the continental US has very few bugs? and a lot?

Bugs tend to be more prolific in warmer weather and less in colder weather. There are still bugs everywhere, as they are capable of adaptation and they are necessary parts of every ecosystem, but you will not be bothered as much by bugs in colder climates.
