Tyre wall damage, some advice please?

You shouldn't trust a tyre with a bulge in the sidewall. The pot hole you hit may or may not have been the cause. However if the tyre is only a few months old, dig out the receipt and take it back for replacement. Don't suggest to the garage that a pot hole may have been the cause, they will leap at that and fob you off.
